Full Review - Microgaming Baccarat (7.50)
Baccarat is played with a 52-card deck. There is a random shuffle at work in the game, and a random deal. In this game, you can bet on either of two sides - the Player hand or the Banker hand - and can also bet on a third possibility, a tie. There are two hands that are dealt in this game - one is the Player hand and the other is the Dealer hand. Two cards comprise each initial hand. The best possible hand is a nine (9). This means that when you make a wager on either the Player or Banker, you are betting that either of them will come closer to the total of nine (9).
The cards are dealt out essentially side-by-side, with the Player hand on the left, and the Banker hand on the right. There are two decisions that are made by the player, both before the deal - what size wager to make, and what to bet on - the Player, Banker, or tie. After the two cards are dealt out, there are static rules that determine whether either of these hands will receive a third card. Again, this is not something that involves a pro-active move on the part of you as the player, but instead is automatic. The software has these criteria built-in, and if it is mandated by the situation, the third card comes quickly, You are immediately told whether you have won or lost.
There are no double-digit totals in baccarat, meaning that instead of totals of 11, 12 or 13, for example, are not counted as such. Instead, they are represented by what the second digit in those figures (for example, 1, 2 or 3, respectively). Any ten-value cards, meaning the Ten, Jack, Queen and King, are counted as zero. The Ace is counted as one (1).
Baccarat is a game that has an extremely sophisticated image to it, although it doesn't necessarily have to be exclusive in nature. It should be noted, however, that the minimum bet in this game is $10, and it allows for a maximum wager of $500. These figures are among the highest you'll find for an online casino game.
