The third eGaming Review (EGR) Business to Business (B2B) Awards were announced on May 10, 2012. These awards reward and celebrate the very best service providers and B2B operators in the online gambling industry. The awards cover all the major disciplines such as betting and gaming software, networks, mobile gaming, payments solutions, recruitment, IT and infrastructure. The awards ceremony was held at The Atrium at Wembley Stadium in London. It was preceded by a cocktail reception and a gala dinner.

This year's EGR B2B Awards were particularly great for the online gambling sector of the Isle of Man. Companies with headquarters there were nominated for 18 awards and went on to pick up a total of five awards. Continent 8 Technologies was awarded the Data Centre of the Year. They have won this award for the third year in a row. Nick Nally, Chief Development Officer at Continent 8, expressed delight at this and said, "It represents our continuing commitment to the industry in terms of our product set and footprint. We are particularly happy to join other Isle of Man companies who were successful on the night."

The leading online gaming software provider Playtech won three awards improving upon its 2011 performance. The categories in which Playtech won the awards were Bingo Network of the Year, Slot Provider of the Year and Poker Network of the Year. The Playtech bingo network operates through its subsidiary Virtue Fusion. Playtech winning the Slot Provider of the year was not unexpected because its latest branded slots were awesome. In 2011 Playtech was named RNG Casino Supplier of the Year and was awarded Bingo Network of the Year. Playtech rival, Microgaming Systems won the award for RNG Casino Supplier of the Year. Microgaming was also Highly Commended for Poker Software of the Year.

The Isle of Man was also significantly represented at the associated conference and exhibition, EGR Subscriber Forum, which was held at the same venue on the same day. Apart from the companies that exhibited at the forum, several delegates from the Isle of Man online gambling community, including government representatives, attended. Alex Downie OBE and Political Member for eGaming in the Isle of Man Department of Economic Development praised the great showing from the Isle of Man at the EGR B2B Awards, both for the attendance from the companies and the success at the awards. He said, "To have won five awards is an exemplary achievement and goes to demonstrate the quality of the Isle of Man's e-Gaming sector and its continued status as a world-leading centre of excellence for the industry."

Some other notable winners were Net Entertainment for Innovation in RNG Casino Software and Innovation in Slot Provision; Mobenga for Mobile Supplier of the Year and Ukash for Payments Company of the Year.
