Intercash - A Prepaid Payment Option

Intercash is global prepaid electronic payment option that is accepted at over 29 million locations with a variety of Internet merchants. At online casinos Intercash is not as popular as options like Ukash or paysafecard, but is making every effort to establish a name in the Internet gaming industry.

Intercash CEO Patrick Seguev listed the advantages of the Intercash prepaid card. It has the backing of MasterCard, which adds tremendously to its credibility because players are assured that it is a secure option. The fact that the payments are made instantaneously means that players need have minimum inventory of funds at online casinos. There are no set up fees and the Intercash system can be very easily integrated into the online casino software.

The biggest advantage of Intercash in the online gaming industry is that online casinos can remit payments directly to the Intercash cards held by players. Withdrawal from online casinos is the biggest headaches for players. Many of them are still constrained to receive payments by checks. Seguev says, "With our system companies are able to reduce their overhead costs in issuing payments via check or EFT. Our prepaid MasterCard solution is fast, convenient, and international." Affiliate programs can also use Intercash to pay commissions directly onto a physical prepaid MasterCard held by their member.

Intercash prepaid cards are issued by Banque Invik, which is a Luxembourg based bank. Banque Invik is engaged in Private Banking, Asset Management, Treasury Outsourcing, Corporate Finance and issuing a number of credit cards and prepaid cards. Conister Trust and Metvante Corporation are other partners of Intercash.

The method adopted by Intercash to promote itself in the online gaming industry is to have a strong presence at appropriate conferences and exhibitions. It has taken a stand at the iGaming Super Show at Prague, which runs from May 25 to May 28. Over 2000 delegates, including online gaming operators will be made aware of the advantages offered by Intercash. Earlier Intercash had exhibited at The Amsterdam Affiliate Conference from April 30 to May 3.

At the iGaming Super Show Intercash will be holding a prepaid card give away. Delegates who visit the Intercash stand will be asked to drop their business cards. Intercash will then hold a lucky draw and two winners will get prepaid cards of value €200. The Intercash representative said, "We feel that it will be great to be able to show and tell people about our product in addition to getting everyone involved with a giveaway."
