iGaming Super Show 2012 PreviewedBy: Ryan Alders, Thursday February 9th 20120 Comments Email Print iGaming Super Show is a comprehensive annual exposition for the online gambling industry. The event will be held from May 22 to May 25 in Dublin in Ireland. The venue is the famous RDS Simmons Court located in the city center. It is organized by iGaming Business, a leading online gambling publication. Through a press release the organizers have provided a preview of what can be expected from iGaming Super Show 2012. Though the event will take a global look at the online gambling market, the focus will be on the US and European marketplace, where new regulation is taking place or is expected to take place. Opportunities offered by each sector will be provided along with detailed financial analysis. Alex Pratt, head of iGaming Business, said, "The iGaming Industry is going through major changes, with new countries regulating and the US slowly opening its doors. Companies need to know how to adapt to these changes and, more importantly, make the most of these bourgeoning markets. " He pointed out that there were a little over 2,800 delegates at the London Affiliate Conference last month, which concentrates only on the affiliate sector. Since the iGaming Super Show brings together the affiliate and b2b industry, the numbers expected are far larger. The press release goes on to discuss specific areas that the iGaming Super Show 2012 will look at. Regulation in Spain will be well under way by then and a session will cover how that has panned out. The Manager of the Danish Gaming Authority will provide insights into his experience of regulation. The eternal question in Europe - whether the single market approach is the long-term solution – will be discussed. Two sessions have been earmarked for the United States for giving an overview of the market and identifying where opportunities exist. The usual topics of assessing business risk, licensing, trends, marketing, acquisition strategies and operations will also be covered. Many high profile speakers have already confirmed their participation. They include the CEO of Virgin Games, the Head of Online Gambling Operations at WMS and the Managing Director (iGaming Interest) of Deutsche Bank. They will give their professional opinions on their specialist subjects. This will be the third year for the iGaming Super Show. The sponsors include all the big names in the online gambling industry. Some of them are Microgaming, Neteller, Entropay, Alderney Gambling, Bodog, Euro Partners, Skrill and Roxy Palace. A full schedule and other useful information can be found on the web site of the conference. Attendance is free for all delegates. There will be plenty of opportunities for networking and entertainment including the infamous birthday party of Calvin Ayre of Bodog fame.
