When playing at online casino sites I usually tend to play on my laptop which I connect to the internet via wireless connection with a built in wireless card in the laptop. I find that sometimes when playing at casinos on my laptop however that I get this problem where I spin in a slot game and then it takes quite a while before receiving the response and stopping the reels. I rarely get this kind of problem when I play at casinos on my desktop computer which is wired to the internet using Cat6 cable that goes directly to the router. I'm not really sure what the problem is though. I suppose it could be network latency or a problem with my wireless card but I don't experience any other problems with the wireless card on other sites that I frequent online.
Do any of you out there get a similar problem to what I'm experiencing with wireless online casino playing?
Anyways I'm just curious to figure out what it is as I prefer to just lay around and play relaxed rather then playing at my desktop computer.
Thanks, Paul

Re: Wireless online casino play less reliable?
Like you Paul I play on both wired connection when playing on my desktop computer and when I'm just hanging around the house and playing I play from my laptop which I connect to the internet via a wireless connection. I've never experienced the problem you're having but I have been kicked out of a few casinos in the past while playing when losing network connectivity. I think that this is something that's just bound to happen when you're playing on a wireless connection. It sounds like you have it pretty bad though. Sorry to hear that! Anyways you may want to do as Phizzle has suggested.

Me neither I play on my laptop all the time and never really run into any issues like you're describing. I think you may need to get yourself a new computer or something!

I've had similar problems in the past. After I replaced and upgraded my router to a newer dual-N-Band Linksys router I haven't encountered any more of the problems that you're describing here.
I think that if you do the same you might be in some luck and find that the gaming experience is more smooth and seamless.

I too think it might be a good option if you were to try to replace your router. It'll be much cheaper then trying to replace your computer. It's more then likely that this is your culprit.
