What happened to Boss Media casinos?
I remember many years a go that Boss Media was a major competitor in the market for dominance as a software provider in the online gambling market. Their online casino product was pretty good. The group that developed and was responsible for running their software company was a Swedish group which at the time I believed really knew what they were doing. It really unfortunately seems as though Boss Media has dropped completely off the map and that there are virtually no more online casinos that are powered by and use their software. It's a real shame though as they had a really good software client IMO. The blackjack and other table games they developed were rather impressive. They maybe were a bit behind Microgaming and some of the other software companies in terms of video slots games but in the end that shouldn't have stopped them from thriving as a competitor.
I guess my question is really what happened to Boss Media and why have they sort of dropped off the map?
Thanks

Re: What happened to Boss Media casinos?
That's actually a good question. From what I understand there were a lot of internal management issues with Boss Media which ultimately has lead them to where they are today. To be honest they were far better off in the earlier days when there wasn't near to as much competition in this field of business as there is now.
Their product hasn't improved all that much neither. I beleive that if they were to have sorted out their internal management issues within the company and also were to have continued pushing forward with the development of their online casino platform that we would have really seen this company become a major competitor. Unfortunately that's not the case though and there isn't much of a future for Boss Media if you ask me.

Boss Media did used to have some decent online casino properties out there. A lot of them are still online including the one that I played at many years back Gold Club Casino. Other then that though I don't really know what's happened to them. I hope they don't go under and are just undergoing some management changes or something.

I was never the biggest fan of their software.
Their casinos aren't that good and I've had too many problems to describe and mention them all here. I think that there are much better online casino software companies out there. I'm actually not surprised that they didn't emerge as a key casino software provider.

I've tried some of their casinos in the past and haven't been overly impressed to be honest. I beleive that they could have done a much better job developing their slots games. Oh well probably something that they look back on now and wish they would have done differently.

What I'd really like to know though is whether their days are numbered or if they're going to stick around for a while still. Certainly they must be making some money to have been able to survive up until now.
