Rumor has it that Microgaming is planning on cutting off service to all it's US players who already had accounts with their casinos. This means that they have been still allowing existing US players to play at their casinos which is obviously great. The huge news though and something which is really fantastic is the fact that they're going to now be accepting US players at the casinos that have been licensed by BetWare who have taken an exclusive license with MGS to offer service to US players... whoo hoo... this is fantastic news I can't wait...

I beleive that the actions taken here by Microgaming are really directly related to the fact that they are trying to ready themselves for what's about to come in June with regards to the implementation of regulation of the UIGEA which is very likely to happen.

The fact that they're separating things out is really to indemnify them from any real legal liabilities here IMO. Plus players will get an opportunity to once again play Microgaming quality online casino games even though the casino software that's being played on won't be branded as Microgaming software which doesn't really matter if you ask me.
