Paypal for online casinos may be coming back!
I read a news article the other day about how online casinos in the UK and Europe are able to once again accept and allow their players to make deposits and withdrawals to and from their online casino accounts. This is really great since as far as I'm concerned when it comes to payment options at online casinos, poker rooms, etc... there's no better choice then Paypal. They are by far the most reliable alternative banking option on the web and the fact that they're backed by one of the largest companies in the world (eBay) there's the reassurance factor at play there as well.
Unfortunately for American and Canadian (at least I think Canadian players as well) the usage of PayPal at online gambling establishments is still not permitted. I think that things will eventually change hopefully sooner then later as North American by far experiences the bulk of the problems when it comes to payment processing. If the UIGEA is repelled from what they've said there's a chance that PayPal may come back into the US market which would be great as this seems like it's going to be a reality very shortly. Let's all keep our fingers crossed and hope that this is the case.
Anyways I just wanted to share this tid-bit of news with you all...

Even if the UIGEA is actually repelled I don't think that Paypal would just jump back into the industry and start accepting transactions from US players yet again. It'll definitely take time and they're more likely to be cautious in light of all the issues surrounding them potentially coming back in too soon before any formal regulation has been implemented. My personal beleive is that they'd wait for such regulation to come into play before changing any of their own policies regarding the acceptance of online casino, poker, bingo and other forms of gambling online.

Would be awesome to see them come back into the North American market to say the least. Although I suppose if they were to come back and say service this market then credit cards and deposits at online casinos using them would be far less restrictive for online casino operators to process. I think it would be great, however I do also think that credit card deposits are still easier and more convenient then any other online casino banking option out there or currently available.

Paypal coming back for usage with online casinos would be very nice and convenient for many people. I do agree that credit cards though as mentioned are still one of the best means of depositing at online casinos though!
At least for the non US / Canadian market the fact that European and UK players are going to once again have the opportunity to make use and take advantage of this banking option is super.

I'd be really grateful if they would come back. I do like to make use of my credit cards when playing at online casinos however I do also like using paypal and have been for many years. Having access to using it at online casinos again would just make things so much easier. This is really great news!

100% having usage of paypal in the US will be a huge thing and definitely save tons of people a heck of a lot of headaches. Hopefully Barney Frank get's some of these bills he's pushing to get passed approved.
