Microgaming Newbie Online Casino Tip
If you're new to Microgaming online casinos I think it's worth while to know that when playing at a Microgaming casino there's a very simple and easy way to toggle between Real Money Mode and Fun / Practice Play Mode. It's not the official way of doing things per-say as I don't think that it was intended necessarily to work this way but it does and it makes it rather handy to switch between the two modes.
You may be wondering why you'd even want to switch between the two modes but the fact is that there may be times that you're playing for Real and would like to switch to fun mode in order to try a new game before playing for real and I beleive this is something that players do quite often I know I myself do it so I just figured that others would as well.
So what you need to do is once logged in in either mode is to go back to the lobby of the casino and click the "Disconnect" button in the bottom navigation / menu bar. Once you do this you can re-login in the other mode and you're set you can now play in that mode.
I find that most other online casino platforms do not let you do this and you are required to first exit the casino and re-enter. It's nice saving the one step such as is with Microgaming software.
Hope this tip helps...

Re: Microgaming Newbie Online Casino Tip
Good tip and proposed advice for new players and even those that aren't aware that this can be done.
I agree I don't think that this was an intentional feature in Microgamings online casino platform when they first designed it but it's a loop hole that can be used to prevent having to exit the software client to switch modes. I thought that 888.com had a similar feature to this as well but I haven't played with them for many years now so I really can't remember.

A great tip indeed thanks for posting that LPB it's greatly appreciated. If only all software providers would make it easy to toggle game play modes!

Re: Microgaming Newbie Online Casino Tip
It would still be preferable I know for me at least if I were able to switch between real money mode and fun player mode directly while in a game. There are times for example that I'd like to try something different when placing a bet or just want to see how something works but don't want to risk doing it with real money so it would be great if there were a way to switch between the modes directly within the casino software itself.

Re: Microgaming Newbie Online Casino Tip
Hi Everyone,
Good advice! I like the idea of switching back and forth between the fun play and real money modes of gaming in these online casinos. I agree with flint in many ways though in that if you were able to switch modes while in the games rather then having to leave, come back and re-enter the game it would be a much better way to do this rather then having to first leave the game, go back to the lobby, disconnect, reconnect and then go back to the game and do this all over again to get back to the previous mode you were in. Kind of a pain in the butt if you ask me.
Cheers, Dillan
