Not sure if the rumors I've heard regarding online casinos and other forms of gambling online no longer being able to accept deposits using credit cards to make purchases but just wanted to know if this is in fact true. I personally haven't yet experienced any problems as I use my MasterCard to deposit at online casinos all the time even to this very day.

Can someone out there just clarify as to whether there is in fact a problem with deposits using MasterCards right now with some online casinos and players and as to whether if it hasn't affected me yet that it will affect me sooner or later? The reason I ask is just because I'd really like to be prepared rather then not and have something going in terms of one of these alternative online casino banking options that are out there.

I think that this is going to be an issue. All the credit card issuers will be getting ready for the implementation of rules and regulation regarding the UIGEA which are apparently supposed to debut sometime in June or mid summer at the latest depending on how things pan out. I beleive that this will likely come to pass so it's going to definitely be a good idea that you start getting some alternative banking options going that are still well known for their abilities to accept deposits for US players. MasterCard is the first and apparently they've started and figured out a way around online casino operations who are processing casino credit card transactions using uncoded methods of being able to do so. I beleive that although this is the case right now that there will 100% be a way around it so I wouldn't really worry about it too much!

I hate the fact that these issues are still about and that there's still this scared feeling that everyone has regarding this stuff... It it happens it happens and there's nothing that can really be done about them implementing rules and guidelines that banks will need to follow with respect to the enforcement of the UIGEA but I do think that the gambling industry will definitely find ways around it all.

These attempts at prohibition won't do anything IMHO I agree in the sense that this industry will find ways around all these kinds of issues. I'm surprised that these big gaming companies haven't started their own banks and are doing things with that to help with these situations.

It's a real pity that things have become as big of a pain in the ass as they have become they really shouldn't be this way and it's not fair to all American players. I for one know that I'm not in favor of any of the stuff the government is doing here nor do I think they have the right. I guess at the end of the day they do what they want all the time even though the vast majority of people don't agree with it.

Who are they to tell me that I can't make deposits using my credit cards. I haven't seen any such affects as of yet either I beleive that it's still all good right now. I was able to make several deposits last night without any problems so I really don't see it being all that big of an issue.

It is actually already a problem I've had issues in depositing at Rushmore Casino and in addition I've also had issues with my deposits into my pokerstars and full tilt poker accounts so beleive it or not this is happening and will be an issue until they figure out a work around which I'm sure they will be able to do sooner or later. These people that work at credit card companies are idiots for the most part.

That really sucks I have sympathy for all you US online casino players out there and really hope that things will work themselves out for you guys eventually and that it won't be a hassle to do what you like to do anymore online.

I really feel bad for all of you US players out there it's really not fair to you guys what's going on. If I could change things for you all I would. I'm sure that many of you out there miss being able to play at Playtech, Micro and Crypto online casinos. I know that I would as what you're left with isn't that great RTG, Vegas Technology and Rival... Hopefully there will be some positive changes in favor of online casinos in the US in the not so distant future.

I haven't had any problems yet at online casinos but I have heard from friends of mine that poker rooms are really struggling right now and that they're not able to make their deposits to the poker rooms that would normally have no problems accepting deposits using Master Cards.

I've just tried playing at one of the casinos that are a part of the English Harbour group and tried to deposit using my Master Card and there was no luck. It appears as though for new deposits to their casinos that it's not working properly as a method right now.

I have had success though at the Golden Casino group casinos and particularly Go Casino and also with Rushmore Casino both of which had no problems in taking my first time deposits at the casinos.

It's really something else these problems with being able to make deposits at online casinos I wish all these problems would just go away really!

Agreed why don't they just give it a rest already and let people play when they want using whatever means of making purchases and deposits at online casinos that they want to.

Seems like many of us who have avoided bothering with some of the alternative banking options out there will need to create an account with some of them for backup in case our credit cards stop working all together!

These issues are really irritating but I have to agree with everyone as they will go away. I remember times when people used to be distressed about how they were going to play, crying all the time, lol... and look how long since then we've been able to ride it out. It's just another bump in the road and should be looked at as such by all!

No problems yet from my perspective either so I'm not sure if it really is going to be an issue. I'm already playing at casinos though and haven't tried creating new accounts and depositing at other casinos for the first time.

Just keep trying different online casinos and I think that in general that you'll find that some of them are able to process master card and other credit card transactions without any problems. So just keep it up and you'll find one that works I'm sure of it!

I hate the fact that things have become this way it's a real shame and pain in the butt actually. I too wish that things would go back to how they used to be. It's not all that much to ask for when you really think about it.
