Issues for Visa deposits at online casinos yet?
I had read an article the other day about how visa transactions at online casinos are going to become more difficult as they've apparently become for new players at online casinos who use MasterCard. I haven't found that these problems have affected me as of yet but I'm already comfortable where I do play so as of right now I'm not too worried about it. However if and when I decide to try another online casino to play at I just wanted to know where I should go as I hate it when I download a casino and I'm not able to deposit it's really a waste of my time and would like to avoid it in the future. It's only happened to me once or twice in the past but that being said I'm sure that because I'm saying that the next times that I try playing at a new online casino that I'll have a similar problem like this. I have both Visa and Master Card to use as credit cards so that's fine but I need to know if I'm going to have problems at any of the online casinos if I want to try switching it up some day. Thanks for any advice you may have Tory

Re: Issues for Visa deposits at online casinos yet?
I just tried playing at Club World Casino myself and had an issue depositing. I don't think that this will be a problem for very long if you take a look at and read the thread that's provided in the the casino category of the forum here on the site you'll find an existing discussion regarding deposits using Master Cards at online casinos which is essentially the same problem that Visa depositors such as myself are going to encounter at casinos probably fairly soon. As I said though it's probably not going to be a problem for long I wouldn't be surprised if next week I tried to make a deposit at Club World and it worked fine as they may have a solution in place that will accept my deposits using my credit cards.

If you play with the big players out there like the Go Casino, Online Vegas, Rushmore type brands then you should not have too much difficulty with this as I beleive that they've already found work around to the problems at hand. Best of luck to you... if however you're happy where you're playing as of present I would suggest that you continue playing there cause if you can deposit using your credit card already at that casino then you'll be in good shape to continue being able to make deposits. Keep playing where you're playing and you'll be fine venture off elsewhere and this is where you'll encounter problems. -Phil

Can't you guys in the USA who can't deposit using your credit cards turn to an alternative banking method such as NETeller or Moneybookers. I know that when the sh*# hit the fan with respect to credit card transactions in general these were the methods that people generally turned to. Would be nice if you can take advantage of these as they're definitely convenient and for the most part guaranteed to work provided that the online casinos that you're trying to play at do in fact offer them.

I've read on a few other forums that people are already having problems with Visa so I beleive that it's very likely that they already have something in place just like MasterCard does. If Amex doesn't yet you can count on them having something in place as well relatively soon.

No issues on my side as of yet but I suppose that I'm not playing at any new online casinos which could be the thing that's going to happen the next time that I try playing and depositing at an online casino that I've never played at before with my visa or mc.

I also heard that they're going to be putting a stop in respect to the ability for people to first be able to fund their alternate baking methods using their credit cards as it too is regarded as a means of purchasing credits at online casinos and other forms of gambling online which is what the enforcement of the UIGEA is really tried to stop at the end of the day!

So as it turns out Master Card has in fact become a big bitch for depositing as a new player at online casinos. So for those of you out there who do have a Visa card I would recommend using it over your Master Card right now...

From what I've heard thus far they're really going after the poker rooms and sports books so for online casino players at least for the time being I think that it's going to be OK. We have to still see really but I do think that it will all work out!
