Credit cards vs. debit cards at US online casinos!
As a US online casino player the struggle for me and for many players out there has been how to make deposits at casino sites as a player who resides in the United States. The fact is that there are several options out there for players like ourselves to make deposits at casinos. I myself like to mix it up between UseMyWallet, Quicktender and other similar type debit card options. These methods are a bit more time consuming initially as they involve the setup of accounts with these third parties and either bridging your credit card or bank account with their systems. Although they're relatively hassle free credit cards are still my first choice when it comes to making deposits at casinos. With credit card deposits you know that you'll have instant access to funds should the deposit take and the transaction be processed properly. The thing however is that you really need to play at online casinos that are able to accept these transactions. If at any point you find that you're getting a rejection on your credit card while playing at an online casino as a US player there's a good chance that their merchant account has either been fried or another issue related to them being able to accept your payment has transpired. My suggestion is that if this ever happens would be to have a debit card account with either UseMyWallet, Quicktender or another banking option that is not a credit card handy. This way when you have the urge to play you're not stuck tinkering with trying to create an account with a third party when all you really want to do is play.
There are a few things you should know though. In general deposit methods that are not credit card oriented have certain restrictions that you need to know about. Although casinos do apply limits to credit cards these can be overcome by the casino provided that they're confident that you're a real honest player and someone who won't chargeback transactions, etc... Generally the limits with credit cards are dependent on a number of factors. As a new player you likely won't have the highest deposit limits, but as the casino gets to know you they'll raise these. In general altnerative banking options don't have the same freedom of maneuverability as credit cards do as third parties now really dictate the terms of how much you can deposit in a given period, interval, etc...
All in all credit cards are still the preferred option whether you're from the US and want to deposit at an online casino or from abroad. If you're abroad you probably won't have the same kinds of issues but if you do you can apply for the same third party banking options and utilize those as well.
So I just wanted to really share my opinion with you guys here on the topic of Credit cards vs. debit cards and other banking options for all United States online casino players out there!
Have a nice weekend everyone!
