Today I tried creating an account as I wanted to play at Golden Casino and I was unable to. It seems as though they're not accepting any players who live in Canada. I know what's going on in the USA but I'm not quite sure as to why they wouldn't let me play. Does anyone have any ideas of why this might be?

Are there any suggestions for alternatives on where I can play where they definitely do accept players from Canada?

The company that produces software that Golden casino operates off of is called Vegas Technologies. Vegas Technologies does not permit players from Canada. The fact is that their offices are in Canada and them allowing their operators to accept wagers from players who reside in Canada may spur some issues with the Canadian government which is why I beleive they are not doing it. Also from what I know about Golden Casino they are also located in Canada as well so that may have something to do with it too.

For alternatives I think that if you check out some of the Realtime Gaming casinos like Club World Casino or One Club Casino you'll find that you'll be able to play and deposit at those casinos without any problem. Also most Microgaming online casinos accept players from Canada. If you're planning on playing at a Microgaming casino I'd highly suggest and recommend that you try out and play at either All Slots Casino or Platinum Play Casino.

I think you'd be wise if you were to play at Microgaming or Playtech powered casinos as they offer some of the better games and are the easiest for Canadians to deposit at. I'm also a Canadian and this is my first post here on the site actually.

I think that Canadian players can play pretty much at all online casinos except for those that are powered by Vegas Technology software and Rival Software as both of them maintain their head of operations in Canada.
