Imagine playing online casinos on the iPad, would be pretty amazing to say the least to be able to play slots and other games that we all love so much on this new device from apple. I'm on the list on the Apple website to get notified when it's released cause I just have to have one. I saw the keynote address made by Steve Jobs yesterday for the first time and have to say that I'm really impressed with the product and what it represents as a new means of combining the smart phone with the laptop expereince. I beleive that this truly will revolutionize how commerce is done online.

The application for such a tablet and uses for it in gaming especially online casinos and slots in particular from my perspective is incredible. Now all they have to do is develop a quality online casino product and platform that's compatible with both the iPhone and thus would be on the iPad. I'm sure that loads of people out there are thinking the same thing and that we'll see something come to market sooner or later. The fact that is has a much larger display then the iPhone makes it the perfect candidate for slots, blackjack and other games that look and play much better on a bigger screen. For sports betting, poker and bingo I think that the iPhone is still a good contender.

If you're in the market for a new computer and are an avid Mac user that you should go for the tablet they're relatively in expensive in comparison even to the smaller notepad type mini computer that are currently on the market.

I'm loving this thing right now I too have signed up to receive contact when the thing is out. I don't think that it's going to be going to Europe or other parts of the world for some time now so I think I may have to wait a while to get my hands on one. I'm not sure how great it's going to be for online casinos but would be cool to try some out on it for sure. I know that Microgaming for example where I play for the most part their casinos including their flash casinos run solely on PC so would be really great if they were to have a version of their software sooner or later that would adopt a Mac version.

The iPad is definitely going to change computing as we see it in the future. I would imagine that plenty of other providers out there will commence in doing similar type products.

Really love the looks of this thing... I have a Mac and an iPhone myself although when I play at online casinos I use my PC but I would really love to be able to play online casinos on my Mac devices. Hopefully fingers crossed as mentioned we'll see something come to the marketplace sometime soon with regards to a good online casino software product. Certainly by now there's a big enough demographic of Mac users out there that it would be worth it for them to have a full on Mac download version of online casino software.

I've already read elsewhere that it's going to really suck for poker. I would imagine that for casino it might be a bit better but I don't really know as there really isn't any good mobile online casino apps for the iPhone as of right now. So I'm not really sure where things will land themselves for the iPad. It's a great looking device though which you'd come to expect from Apple and the products that they release.

I'm interested in seeing one, I'm not quite sure whether I'd actually buy one as of yet firstly because they're unavailable but more then that I think that for me I'd get board of it rather quickly and it would sit in my room somewhere collecting dust.

Sweet I never even heard of this new Apple toy until I just checked it out after reading this thread. I'm really impressed looks amazing and something that everyone should have!

I think that if this product catches on and people really start using it and playing on their iPads that online gambling can and will become far more popular even then where we're at today. Playing on a tablet you would imagine would be more like playing in a land based casino where you're touching the screen to invoke actions, etc... will be super for the online gambling industry if the product takes off to say the least!

Checked out the iPAD and it's quite an amazing new device and very impressive actually. I beleive that it will take off. I know that there's a lot of skeptics out there but it's definitely an amazing product.

The iPAD most certainly is one of the most impressive devices that have hit the market in a while. I think that we'll soon see android type tablets hit the market and more and more of these become main stream. It's great how apple has been paving the road to the future with their innovations like these.

That does in fact sound like it would be pretty stellar. I love my iPAD. I haven't found any online casino apps for the iPAD though as of yet so that would be pretty sweet if something did come about. I doubt that Apple would accept any online casino or poker room apps though just because of the amount of uncertainty that surrounds internet gambling internationally.

Would be great to see some casino games for the iPAD I'm sure it's going to come sooner or later though!

Apple iPad is the most innovative company today, im not surprised that they produced another new technology in their product today, i must say that it will become more resourceful.

Yeah that would be fantastic actually I definitely see a shift in the future for both iPAD online casino games and Android powered online casino games when we start seeing more tablets that are done up powered by the Android opperating system.

There will most certainly be developers of online casino games probably those that already have an established presence with games they can simply port over like Microgaming, Playtech, Vegas Technology, etc... that will launch iPAD, iPHONE and on devices powered by Android sometime in the near future.

I've been very happy with it so far. I can see an immense amount of potential with the iPad in the online gambling industry not just for casinos but poker, sports betting and bingo even.
