I'm posting today to inquire about something that spiked my interest the other day. Being that I'm from America I rarely pay attention to what other people like in terms of games at casinos but a friend recently asked me what the most popular games for casino players are in the UK. I guess the question was more geared towards "what kind of casino games" do players like playing period vs. playing just online. I literally have no idea so I'm curious to know. For us here in the US it's really slots first and foremost then I would say blackjack or video poker followed by the rest of the games that are out there.

If you guys have any incite or opinions regarding this or just outright know what the answer is it would be greatly appreciated.

It's not really a big deal and doesn't require any long thought out response but just a quick listing even of some of their favorite games over there in the UK would be great and very much appreciated.

From my own trips to the UK I would say that in terms of land based casinos that blackjack and roulette are by far the most popular games that you'll find in the casinos there. I don't think that they have the room in the cities for the big slots casinos like there are in the US. I'm not sure about what games they really favor online but I think that in terms of offline land based casino games that blackjack and roulette is where it's at for them.

Yeah players from the UK generally like playing table games and games where they can somewhat control the outcome and or have more in way of betting decisions that they can make. I think that their favourite game is blackjack. If you go to the Hard Rock, Ritz Club or any other land based casino found throughout London and or the UK you'll generally find that we don't have too many slots games and in some cases any. I think that players from the United Kingdom in general are more savvy players and thus as a result have more drive to play games like I said where they can control the outcome of the game play a bit more. They're smarter and shaper players.

That's for land based casino gaming however online I would say that a lot of the women in the UK who love to play Bingo and trust me there's a ton of them also enjoy to indulge in playing video poker and slots games over and above the other games. I also think it's all about the player. A proper punter for example will want to bet on sports which has nothing to do with casino gambling whatsoever or perhaps indulge in playing in a higher stakes poker game.

Agreed in the UK it's definitely the table games that are the most popular. I actually don't think that this will really change from the land based casino standpoint or offline gambling standpoint but for online casinos I think that slots for UK players may one day become rather popular if they aren't already.

Yeah in general and throughout Europe it's like that where the most popular games are the ones where you have to use your brain and aren't as mindless as slot machine games. I do however think that playing video poker is more of a thinking game then playing slots for example.

In general I think that players from the UK and Europe tend to enjoy playing games where they have a better chance at winning and in slots it's inevitable that over time you're going to loose your pants. Even in the short term if you hit large wins over time it's all going to be paid back to the casino so long as you continue playing.

That's why I think that blackjack and roulette are games of choice for players from the UK and Europe!

Its a European version of casinos in UK, in my own opinion think that the most popular and in demand games in UK are roulette and slots because of its easy to use and convenient way of playing many players are enjoying this kind of games due to its short term way of playing.

I think that traditionally table games have been the most popular with UK players but agree that slots are becoming very popular with players from the UK as well these days.
