Whether you noticed or not it's a fact that online casinos push the casino tournaments they offer pretty hard. It's quite simple there's a lot less risk associated with the running of online casino tournaments then there is for them in running the regular day to day online casino. The ups and downs of running an online casinos can be seen from month to month when they have big winners and big losers at the casino. For example there may very well be some months that the casino on their regular play could be up a significant amount but other months where they're down significantly as well. As a result adding and running of online casino tournaments from what I understand adds a lot of stability to these online casinos in their ability to sustain regular growth. I think that they're great online casino tournaments for a number of reasons including the following:

2) the spread of prizes is as such that there are players generally up to sometimes in excess of the 5000th spot that get something for playing in the tournament.

3) the prizes of the tournament are guaranteed.

4) the casinos will generally offer players free roll tournaments from time to time meaning that they don't need to pay a penny even to enter into and play in the tournament.

5) they're fun to play in as you have something to compete for which I think is the biggest and most compelling reason as to why it's good to play in these types of tournaments.

I'm really a big fan of online casino tournaments actually and find that those that are offered at Vegas Technology online casinos are some of the best tournaments that you can choose from and play.

I agree with all your views on tournaments. I think that casinos do benefit a lot from them hence why were starting to see far more of them around and being run. I'm surprised that Realtime Gaming, Top Game and Rival don't actually offer it. I beleive that they really should and that it would ultimately help their businesses out.

Casino tournaments have blown up in popularity at online casinos over the past 2 years or so. The Golden Gaming guys do definitely offer some of the biggest and best online casino tournaments for all us US players out there.

I generally try and play in their bigger tournaments whenever I can I find that I don't win the big prizes but I have come in pretty close a few times!

Really does make a lot of sense as to why the online casinos that are out there are in fact so keen on running these tournaments for the mentioned reasons. I like playing in tournaments although unlike some of you I don't really come out very high on top but then again I probably don't commit as much time as some of you do to the whole thing.

Yeah a lot of the online casino tournaments out there that are being run are being pushed pretty aggressively by the various online casinos that are running them. It does make a lot of sense for the stated reasons and I'm in agreement in the respect that they're ideal for online casinos in that they don't really expereince the ups and downs. I suppose the only risk involved in running so called "Guaranteed" tournaments is the fact that as the casino if you don't reach the thresholds that are needed in order to payout everyone in the tournament and still make a profit.

Whether they push them or not I don't really care personally I just like to see the prize pools being large and having a decent amount of these prize pools allocated to the first, second and third place winners of any given tournament!

Obviously they have to compete in the market in order to survive in the industry that's why they offer larger tournaments, and also this is their way to advertise their site in online casino gaming.
