Question about casino slots bonuses for you guys?
Hey everyone,
I have a question regarding online casino slots bonuses I think this is something that applies to both land based casino slots as well as those online but I just wanted some clarification.
So I noticed that pretty much on all slots games that bonus rounds that are entered into by winning the bonus entry via a scatter combination have the prizes that are won within the bonus round multiplied by the total bet. Is the formula the same for scatters regardless and they will always remain a multiple of the number of lines x number of coins being staked to create your total bet?
Thanks guys your help in clarifying this would be great!
Raymond

Re: Question about casino slots bonuses for you guys?
Hi there Raymond,
The values in all slots games are based on one line and one coin so when slots games are developed in the bonus round the values that are presented in the array that are chosen for wins are smaller values say (1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15). So from the above array what would happen is that if you were to point and click on a value the value in the array would be multiplied by your total bet which is a combination of the total number of lines and the number of coins you're playing per line. Of course this is most relevant in coin based games. In games where credits are used (or if the game is toggled into credits mode which some games are) the value of the coin would be used as well but it's still essentially the same thing.
So to answer your question though you are correct the total bet is always used.
For example let's say we make 3 selections in a pick and choose type bonus round slot game and the values picked by the RNG are 1, 3, 5 and your total bet is 250 coins.
Selection #1 would be 1x250 = 250 Selection #2 would be 3x250 =750 Selection #3 would be 5x250 = 1250
So the total amount won from the above example would be: 2250 coins.
Anyways hope this is of some value.

Yeah for all scatter symbols that get you into the bonus round this is the way it works but if it's a line win that invokes a bonus round then it's a bit different and not a multiple of your total bet but your bet on the specific line that entered you into the bonus round. There is definitely a clear distinction between the two!

It all makes sense when you think about it. Payline wins and bonuses that are entered into by paylines are a multiple of only the number of coins played whereas those that come from scatters are a total bet multiple. It's really straight forward.
