Can someone explain to me how online casino slots games that are based solely on scatters work exactly I'm not quite sure and would like some details on how these games work. I'm assuming that the payouts are based on the same principle as that of games that only have one paying scatter symbol.

I've found that a few of the casino software providers out there are now producing games that are like this. It's an interesting concept for a game having ones without paylines. Do players typically prefer games with paylines or ones with scatters only like some of the new casino slots games that are being produced.

Hi there Ray I think that games that are only based on scatters are the same as that of those that are based on paylines with the exception that there's no paylines in the game. All winning combination's in the game are based on scatter combos. I'm not quite sure how wilds would work in these kinds of games but for bonus rounds they'd probably just assign a certain scatter to be the symbol that would win you free spins or bonus rounds...

I've tired these kinds of games and must say that I prefer games that still involve paylines in the game play.

Scatter games are fun I just think that an all scatters game is a bit too much. I don't think that you can really offer the same spread of betting options (eg. coin denomination) and I don't know how coins per line would work as it wouldn't really exist. I still like games with paylines and a few scatters better.

I think that having games that are based on all scatters takes away from scatters being a feature. I've always looked at and considered scatters to be just that a sort of feature in the game. Similar to that of a wild symbol being a feature and something that's exciting when you get it in and while playing a slot game. Anyways that's just what I think on scatters. I personally prefer games that combine scatters and regular line wins.
