I've noticed that more and more online casinos are no longer offering the no deposit bonus offers at their casinos. I know that for myself when I first started playing that I really enjoyed these bonuses when trying to and playing at different online casinos for the first time. I'm curious as to know why they're not very popular any more. I think that this kind of bonus was a great way to attract new players to the casino who have never played and wanted to get a feel for what to expect when they actually do play for real money.

Well I think that they still exist and are out there but perhaps not in the same volume as they used to be. These kinds of bonuses have always been susceptible to bonus abuse and fraud.

I think that one fundamental change in the way things currently work is that more and more online casinos especially the Microgaming casinos are offering free spins or free credit play which can be considered pretty much the same thing as a no deposit bonus.

I've noticed the same thing as Frank. I think that these bonuses are great and I actually tend to want to take advantage of them just to see what the casino is like even if it's on the same software platform.

As someone whose fairly new but maturing in the industry now understanding a lot more about how things work I think that these bonuses are good but have to agree with Phizzle.

Yes, phizzle, the requirements are very difficult, but I still enjoy playing for free...

I mean I love to win but sometimes it's the process that makes me feel high, or it's just relaxing me sometimes....

And there's lots and lots of No deposit Bonuses still, they won't stop offering them

More savvy players in general I think know that no deposit bonuses are really not worth the effort or hassle. If you're trying a new software that you've never tried before (ie. you've only played at Microgaming casinos and you want to try playing at Realtime Gaming casinos and one of their casinos is offering such a bonus) then I think they're worth taking advantage of otherwise it's best to stick to deposit bonuses. Ultimately the casino is willing to reward players such as ourselves far more for deposits that are made rather then on no deposit bonuses where they take on far more risk. I think that because of this you'll find that they protect themselves by making the wagering requirements just that much more strict on the no deposit type bonuses!

Yeah I really wish that there were more online casinos out there that were offering these kinds of no deposit online casino bonuses. There really aren't many to say the least. Especially in terms of US facing online casinos I haven't found one in recent times that's offering these kinds of bonus offers.

This is purely because of people abusing the promotion. The idea is of course to gain new customers but alot of people just sign up to get the bonus and move on company.

Yes I totally agree.. more and more casinos have stopped offering free try out bonuses and it's damaging the depositing players..

However I recently found a really good site for non deposit bonuses..

This is not really a good year for us guys! I think no deposit bonuses would not last. Hope there would be someone who can offer lots of bonuses and I will not stop to play! ^_^
