AGCC Full Tilt Hearing
Several anonymous investors engaged in continuing negotiations with representatives of Full Tilt Poker are involved only in acquiring the struggling online poker giant’s UK and Irish holdings and European licenses. Particulars of the purchase offer come on the eve of yesterday's arranged hearing over the poker site’s license adjourned by Alderney.
The Alderney Gambling Control Commission was set to chair a public hearing in London on Tuesday, July 26th, to decide on the future of Full Tilt Poker, whose fate has been unclear since the events of Black Friday in the US in April.
Full Tilt’s UK licenses were put off by Alderney on June 29 following the accusation of the company by US prosecutors on April 15, and the site was required to suspend all operations from the jurisdiction instantaneously.
Several days before the public hearing, a potential purchase of Full Tilt assets was revealed, that had nothing to do with its operations in the United States, but rather were directed at the British and Irish trademark.
All we can do now is to sit and wait what the board decides. We will keep you updated about the matter.
