Fighting Fish is a new online slot game released by Microgaming in March. It caricatures a boxing bout between the red fish and the blue fish. The reels are set at the bottom of the ocean bed or river bed where the bout takes place. Fighting Fish is a 5 reel and 30 payline online slot game. The coin denominations vary from $0.01 to $0.05 with maximum 10 coins being wagered per line. This gives a maximum line bet of $2.5 and a maximum total bet of $75.

The symbols on the reels are all related to boxing. The Red Fish and the Blue Fish are there as the contenders. The referee for the bout is the Crab. The player has to choose one of the two fish, but before the bout he is given 3 free spins. In the free spins the reels 2 and 4 are held with the respective wild symbols showing and only the reels 1, 3 and 5 are spun. After the free spins are taken the fight is stage and if the player has guessed the winner correctly then the payouts during the free spins are doubled.
