The Grail Maiden online slot has just been released by Vegas Technology and is live at their online casinos. There are features in this five reel video slot that mark a departure from the standard fare put out by Vegas Technology. The Grail Maiden slot game does not have any defined paylines. The minimum required number of identical symbols appearing from left to right on successive reels constitutes winning combinations. In a given reel it does not matter on which row the symbol appears. However the combination has to start from reel 1. The feature has been given the name "All Pays" by Vegas Technology. The rules state, "The highest winner is paid for each symbol, and the highest combination of wins is paid for each symbol on each reel." These rules do not apply for the scatter symbol. The scatter symbol follows the usual rule. The minimum amount to be wagered is 25 credits per spin. The pay table lists the payouts for 25 credits wagered. Players can wager in multiples of 25 credits up to a multiplier of 4x or 100 credits. In case higher than minimum bets are placed the appropriate multiplier is applied to the payouts. For example a Maiden symbol appearing on all five reels offers a payout of 1,000 coins with 25 credits wagered. However, if 50 credits are wagered then the payout is 2,000 coins. The Grail Maiden has a medieval theme. The symbols on the reels are Maidens, Knights, Horses, Castles and Grails. The scatter symbol is the Grail Maiden logo done up as a coat of arms. The high value card symbols are crafted in ornate fonts suitable to the theme. The reels are set in the window of a castle and the symbols appear as stained glass representations. When symbols appear in winning combinations light passes through them giving the impression of stained glass paintings being lit up from behind. The minimum bet on this game is $6.25 - not 25 cents. If you select BET: 100 you are playing $25 a spin! VERY misleading. Play 1 cent to $1; minimum wager 25 cents; your balance is divided by .25, which gives you a total credit balance; the BET box says 25 - I thought I was playing 25 cents - but each spin was $6.25 and the payout is only multiplied by 25 cents (hitting 100 only paid $25). I later played for fun at Super Slots, English Harbor, and GO Casino. It was not uncommon to spin 8 or 9 times before I hit anything (like 50 cents or $1)! Just lost $1,000 of play money at GO Casino. Played for over an hour and only won 2 free spins. This slot game is awful!!!!! I just checked this game to see what you're talking about as I have Go Casino installed on my computer as well and you're actually wrong. The 25 cents you see is the denomination and not your bet. If you look at the bet are you'll see that with a 1 cent denomination that your bet is 100 meaning that your actual cash wager per spin is $1. If you're betting $1 at a bet of 100 this means that you're spending $100 / spin. It's actually all quite simple. You can additionally bet less then 100 by lowering the bet amount using the buttons in the game. I don't see what the confusion really is here. I quite like the game and think it's a really nice addition to their suite of games.
