Since the beginning of June the Summer Slots $700,000 Series has been successfully playing out at all the online casinos of the English Harbour group. $400,000 has been paid out in June and July in Parts I and II of the tournament. Now in August $200,000 will be paid in Part III and $100,000 in Part IV. Part III of the Summer Slots Series will be played on the popular Vegas Technology game show themed online slot game The Reel Deal. Parts I and II were also played on game show themed slots, The Right Prize and Wheel of Chance. The Reel Deal is based on the TV game show Deal or No Deal. There is a separate entry fee of $10 pr Part III of the series. However players who have paid five or more rebuys in Part II need not pay the entry fee. The online tournament follows the usual format. Players will start with a chip balance of $200 and try to increase it to the maximum extent possible. The top 8,000 players will share the prize pool. The $200,000 prize pool for Part III will be distributed as follows. The 1st place winner will get $50,000, the 2nd place winner will get $15,000, the 3rd place winner will get $5,000, the 4th and 5th place winners will get $2,500 each, the 6th to 10th place winners will get $1,000 each, the 11th to 20th place winners will get $500 each and the 21st to 50th place winners will get $250 each. Prizes of $100, $50, $25 and $10 will be awarded all the way down to the 8,000th place. Part IV of the Summer Slots Series tournament will be decided on August 31 based on the leader board standings of the first three legs combined. The five players who have accumulated the maximum number of chips over Parts I, II and III will share a prize pool of $100,000. The 1st placed player will win $50,000, the 2nd placed player will win $20,000, the 3rd placed player will win $15,000, the 4th placed player will win $10,000 and the 5th placed player will win $5,000. The English Harbour online casinos display the leader board position at the end of Part II of the tournament. 'oliver799' is leading with a balance of $69,555.15 and 'debqt25' is in 2nd place with a chip balance of $32,538.78. Wow big tournament this is in line if not bigger then any of the tournaments that Golden Casino and most of the other casinos I've seen are offering. It's not quite as big as the Grand Slam Slots tournament being offered at Microgaming casinos but it's still a rather large prize pool. The Grand Slam tournament is definitely the largest online casino slots tournament I've ever seen or heard of. In fact I don't think I've ever seen such a large tournament even in land based casino slots tournaments.
