The European iGaming Congress and Expo 2012 (EiG 2012) has started on October 16 and will run till October 18. This trade show organized by Clarion Gaming is taking place in Barcelona in Spain. The location is significant because Spain is one of the latest big markets to get regulated online gaming.

All leading input providers to the online gaming industry will be exhibiting their latest products and technologies. Some of them have previewed their exhibits at their web sites. GTECH G2 is targeting two online gaming product verticals at EiG 2012. For the online bingo market GTECH G2 will unveil its new Bingo 2.5 which is built “to boost convenience and enhance the playing experience”. Bingo 2.5 features an in-game lobby that allows players to switch rooms and pre-buy tickets from other rooms without leaving their ongoing bingo game. The bingo product has an adaptable screen feature that adjusts to different screen resolutions and bingo client window sizes without losing information. Many online bingo players play casino mini games while waiting for the bingo game to start. GTECH G2 Bingo 2.5 allows players to detach mini games and place them anywhere on the screen. GTECH G2 will also reveal a new instant poker client. Features of the client include the ability to store and view a player’s hand history and cash games played in the base currency in which the operators system is configured. Finally GTECH G2 will exhibit its Anytime multi-channel product that allows operators to add poker, casino and bingo games on the mobile channel.

Williams Interactive is the newly established online gaming wing of the leading land casino equipment provider WMS Industries. It will display its online casino and multiplayer gaming portfolio that includes server integration capabilities for regulated markets. Through Jadestone’s flexible Arena gaming platform, Williams Interactive operators will be able to offer their players a range of multiplayer card and dice games, including Backgammon. At the moment Williams Interactive releases its online casino games exclusively to its own site Jackpot Party. However in 2013 external operators will also be able to license WMS games. Jadestone will convert some of the popular WMS land casino slot games like Alice Glitz and Goldfish for online wagering.

EveryMatrix will introduce the GamMatrix Mobile360 product at EiG 2012. This allows an integrated sports betting and casino game offering in one single web application along with full bonus and payment functionalities. This product offers a range of payment options for deposit and withdrawals and is compatible with iPhone, iPad and most Android phones. Some of the other exhibitors at the EiG 2012 include Alderney Gambling, Microgaming, Playtech and Skrill.
