eCOGRA Approves BrightShare Casino GroupBy: Rick Balding, Friday September 11th 20092 Comments Email Print In a press release issued from its headquarters in London, eCOGRA has announced that it has awarded its Affiliate Trust Seal to the online gambling affiliate program BrightShare. BrightShare is the third affiliate program to receive this seal. The other two are Roxy Affiliates, which manages the Roxy Palace group, and Fortune Affiliates, which manages the Fortune Lounge group. BrightShare manages the affiliate marketing activities of the Jackpot Factory group, of which the leading brand is All Slots online casino. All Slots is highly recommended by CasinoAdvisor. The Jackpot Factory group owns five online casinos, a multiplayer poker room, an online bingo hall and two mobile casinos. The online casinos are powered by Microgaming. In fact BrightShare operates on the Microgaming Affiliate System, which offers the same high standards as the Microgaming online gaming software. eCOGRA is not the only independent party to recognize BrightShare. BrightShare has been winning Casinomeister's Best Affiliate Program award for the last two years. eCOGRA's accreditation process was introduced just over a year ago. It outlines the best practice business standards for affiliate program operations. These were finalized after a year's discussion with affiliate program owners, affiliate members and others in the online gaming industry. Some of the most important conditions are that affiliate programs must show how affiliate revenue is accurately calculated, must make payments promptly and must have transparent links between players and affiliates. Below is a copy of the actual certificate we here at Casino Advisor took a screen shot from off of the Bright Share website which shows the official certification that has been granted by eCOGRA. Before the approval to BrightShare was granted, eCOGRA's compliance teams carried out rigorous inspection and monitoring of the affiliate program's operations. eCOGRA CEO Andrew Beveridge said that his compliance teams were more than satisfied with the highly efficient operations they found at BrightShare during their on-site and in-depth audit. Going beyond BrightShare's specific case, Beveridge said, "eCOGRA's independent directors are very pleased with the positive response by affiliate programs to this custom-designed addition to our services, which indicates a real desire among the programs to measure themselves against practical international benchmarks through independent audits." Lloyd Apter, affiliate manager for BrightShare, acknowledged that affiliate programs played a pivotal role in bring customers and online gambling operators together. Therefore the services that they provide have to be of the highest quality. Being awarded eCOGRA's Affiliate Trust Seal has given BrightShare the confidence that its program meets the highest industry standards. He also informed that eCOGRA would be conducting regular reviews and follow up inspections and this would ensure that BrightShare will maintain the high standards it has achieved. BrightShare can now display the eCOGRA Affiliate Trust Seal at its web site and other locations and this will add credibility to the affiliate program's operations. The seal will also play an important role in bringing in more affiliates and thus driving greater traffic to the Jackpot Factory online casinos. It's really quite encouraging to see that eCOGRA is trying to regulate and add legitimacy to other parts of the gaming industry other then just player protection. Absolutely it's great to see and hear when other parts of the industry and not just players are being protected. I guess this was a sort of attempt to legitimize the affiliate industry as Brightshare is an affiliate program for a few Microgaming online casinos.
