Dublin iGaming Super Show 2011By: Joe Valentino, Friday May 20th 20110 Comments Email Print After the overwhelming success of the inaugural iGaming Super Show 2010 in Prague, the second annual event is being held in Dublin from May 24 to May 26. The iGaming Super Show is hosted by the publishers of iGaming Business and iGB Affiliate, which have been serving the online gambling industry for over eight years. This expo is aimed at affiliates, vendors, media, operators and regulators. Multiple conference streams that will examine topics ranging from business strategy to advanced online marketing will be the mainstay of the event. There will be an exhibition with over 100 stands where the online gambling industry will come to do business. Attendance is free. There will be two sets of parallel conferences. The first set will deal with marketing and acquisition. One of the topics up for discussion is the perceived conflict between customer acquisition and customer retention. Panelists will help affiliates prioritize their needs and even suggest strategies that combine both acquisition and retention. Online casinos ultimately get the customers from the Internet, either through search engines or social networking. The role of search engine optimization and how to use it effectively will be covered over a number of sessions. The second broad topic is trends and regulation in online gambling. The impact of Black Friday, the seizure of online poker rooms in the US on Friday April 15, will obviously come up for discussion. Regulation in Canada, Ireland and the European Union will be discussed by legal experts. Several sessions will be devoted to the scenario in the United States. One interesting trend that will be discussed is the migration of land based casinos to online gambling. The list of sponsors and exhibitors at iGaming Super Show has all the big names in the online gambling industry. The bulk of the sponsors are obviously affiliate programs. Some of the names are Casino Blasters of brands like Golen Palace, Bodog Affiliate and Euro Partners that manages brands like Casino Tropez. Among the regulators is Alderney and among the software providers is Microgaming. There are many payments solutions providers this year. They include Paysafecard, Skrill, Entropay and Neteller. Neteller has sent an e-mail to all its users informing them of its presence at the Dublin iGaming Super Show 2011. The Neteller affiliate team will explain to visitors the plan to revamp the affiliate commissions. Neteller affiliates can engage in one on one discussion on issues like increasing affiliate commissions and hassle free ways of paying customers. By promoting Neteller as a payment option alongside the online casino promotions, affiliates can get two commissions for every referral. Finally Dublin iGaming Super Show will also be party time with plenty of events lined up. The biggest of them is Calvin Ayre's 50th birthday bash.
