Cryptologic Casino Software User InterfaceBy: Shirley Spicer, Friday December 25th 20093 Comments Email Print The role of an online gaming software developer is not just to provide new and innovative casino games or an excellent casino management system but also make it easy and convenient for the player to navigate through the casino software. In this respect two factors are important. The first factor is quicker access to games and the second factor is generation of information that would help the player. The Cryptologic software stands the test on both counts. Players can access the games either through a thumbnail view or a list view. The thumbnail view provides icons of the games in a matrix form whereas the list view provides a list of the games in a tabular form. Both views provide identical information. The important thing is that the player can choose whichever option he is more comfortable with. In the thumbnail to view a tree menu appears on the left of the screen and the browser window across the rest of the screen. By selecting the game category in the tree menu icons of the games in that category are displayed in the browser window. If the number of icons is too large to fit into the browser window players can scroll horizontally. For greater clarity of the icons players can zoom in as well. Players can download or launch a game by double clicking the icon. If players want to access the game information they can single click the icon and then click the More Info button. The other columns provide some relevant details like minimum stake, maximum stake and download status. In order to access more information about the game players can single click the game and more details appear in the header. The game can be downloaded or launched by double-clicking the game. The tree menu has a search box on top. Players can enter the first few letters of the game in the search box and all games beginning with those letters will be displayed in the browser window. They will be displayed in the chosen view format. As players enter more letters the game selection narrows down. This feature is one of the most useful features in the Cryptologic software. The Favorites panel in the Cryptologic software allows players to access these games more conveniently. The Most Frequent button displays the five games that have been played most frequently by the player. The Most Recent button displays the last five games played by the player. There is also a My Favorites button which allows players to store their favorite games. Players can click and drag the game from the browser window, whether in list view or in icon view, to the Favorites panel. The games can be directly launched from the Favorites panel thereby saving the player the hassle of searching through all the games. Preview of Cryptologic Casino Lobby Options Menu: The Cryptologic software also enables players to specify certain settings that would run across all games. These include the window settings and enabling or disabling the animations and sound options. An important option is enabling the New Games window. This window shows the new games launched by Cryptologic as soon as the casino software loads. One of the most important options is the Session Limit, which allows players to set a limit on their session playing time and weekly losses. InterCasino is the most popular Cryptologic online casino and all the features of the software described in this article are available at InterCasino. Very nice look and feel to their software. In real money mode if you click on the Session Limit button I think that some of what's offered there is the most interesting in the newest features that they offer in the lobby. The ability to set your own personal limits as to how much you want to spend on your online gambling is quite key in helping to prevent excessive spending. I think that they're a pioneer in this regard as no one else has been offering any such features in their software.

The new lobby they offer at Cryptologic online casinos such as Intercasino is by far a big step forward for Cryptologic software and something that I really think has improved their software drastically. The ability to search for games is very handy especially when he selection of games available for play becomes vast and in the case with Cryptologic software is is in fact just as such. So if you're looking for something cool to do this boxing day today I suggest that you check it out and see if you like it I know that I personally have started to like their new lobby look and functionality far better then what it used to be like. Looks very sophisticated and a little overwhelming to be honest. I like the simplicity of lobbies, navigating, etc... and this to me would be too complex to even consider taking advantage of.
