Pros: Quick when it works well.
Cons: Shitty when it doesn't work.
Credit card deposits regardless of whether you have a visa, master card, amex or other credit card has definitely become more difficult to use as a deposit option at many of the online casinos out there and in fact most of them encounter problems accepting player deposits at one point or another.
Hassles such as worrying about having to send in a fax form with all your details, bank statement or utility bill, etc just make it that much more of a pain to play at online casinos. The nice thing is that there are some alternative casino deposit methods out there that are rather easy and convenient to use that are worthy of looking into if you have problems depositing with online casinos. If you're new to online casinos and want to use your credit card there certainly are still casinos online that are out there that you'd probably want to check out and try that are able to take your deposits using your credit cards. I personally still stick to credit cards as I'm used to using them at online casinos and don't have a problem at the ones I do play at. I do think that if you're from the United States you should probably listen to some of the advise that others are offering here. As a US player myself this is what I've done and sure enough all the suggestions that were given here on the site were good ones that worked out for the best for me. I think that you might want to do the same. Playing at online casinos like Rushmore gaming's group of online casinos or the Golden Casino group of online casinos (note golden casino itself doesn't accept any new depositors but their other casino brands do so you might want to try out some of those).
Other then that I think that the only other thing that you need to keep in mind and take into consideration when using your credit card to deposit and play at online casinos is that the money you're playing with is credit and just that and if you loose you're still going to have to pay it back.
