Credit cards at online casino a pain but still the best option.

Pros: Quick in some cases, everyone has one...
Cons: Can be a real pain in the butt!

Most people who gamble online regardless of if it's at an online casino or while betting on sports or playing poker there's one thing that's been a pain in the butt for all of us players who reside in the US and choose to play online and that's how to get the money to the betting shop online. For most of us using credit cards has been a huge pain in the butt especially since the signing and passing of the UIGEA which has made banks that issue our credit cards even more cautious. Unfortunately the alternatives to using credit cards online aren't really all that good and take some time to get up and running with to the point that you can make the same amount of deposits that you normally can with credit cards.

The best thing for US players like us is to play at gaming shops that accept credit cards but more then that are able to process them. Many online casinos are able to process credit card transactions using methods know as uncoded processing meaning that the 7995 that would normally get a rejection from the issuing bank of the card (your bank) will actually work to get your funds to the casino.

Some of the best online casinos that I can recommend that accept and are able to process these uncoded transactions include Golden Casino and their group of casinos (ie. Online Vegas and Go Casino), The English Harbour Group of online casinos which include VIP Slots Casino, Millionaire Casino and a few other top casino brands and last but not least one of my favorites which is the Rushmore Gaming group which includes Rushmore Casino, Cherry Red Casino, Slots Oasis Casino and Slots Ville casino which is operated on the Wizard Gaming platform and one which I'm very excited to see and to play at.

The one downside to credit cards is really that they can be a pain when they don't work. We as consumers expect instant access to our money whether it be playing at an online casino or purchasing a bag of potato chips at the local 7/11.

Another frustrating aspect of it is that most of the time online casinos will require that you submit a form with some requirements which may include a copy of your passport, recent utility bill, etc... I think they do this to get enough information from people in order to prevent them from charging back their credit card transactions.

Even though I prefer using my credit card at online casinos especially when the transactions are going though 100% of the time there are some other alternative banking options out there for US players that still work effectively and are good to use. They won't be as quick in general especially if you don't carry an account with the alternative banking method as of yet but still there are some good options to consider out there if you find that you're getting consistent credit card rejections.
