Some individuals believe you can predict the dice outcomes by looking for patterns. They will watch a craps table for a while to see what dice rolls will come up more often before they will bet. These strategies were based on thinking they worked because most of the time the dice came up winning.

In Craps it is better to rely on your bets than the dice, but you can also think about the probability of certain outcomes. According to one thought there are three combinations on how you can get the total of four on two dice. There are six combinations for getting the 7. So if you know the combinations of the dice and how many there are, you have a better chance at winning a certain bet.

For example if there are 6 combinations for how you can get a 7 on two dice, then you betting on the 7 is a wise idea. Of course I can only think of three ways to get a seven at the moment. You have the 4 and 3, 2 and 5, then the 1 and 6. Still that is better than trying to get a four when you have a 1 and 3 or a 2 and 2.

Knowing the rules of the craps game is going to help you with the proper bets. There are some bets you are unable to make until the player has made point. There are also bets called odds. These bets are often a better wager because the odds are in your favor. Most individuals will tell you to play the don't come, come, pass or don't pass bets and they would be right. These bets pay out in small doses, but they pay out more often.
