Auto Play in Casino Slots Tourneys OnlineBy: Joan Peppin, Wednesday March 17th 20102 Comments Email Print Today many players would find it inconceivable to wager at online slot games without using the Auto Play facility. However, online slot tournaments are completely different. The Auto Play facility does not provide the same kind of advantage and therefore should be avoided by new players. And when used it should be applied with caution and for short durations only. The biggest drawback in using Auto Play in online slots tournaments is that Auto Play functions with fixed wagers only. This means that if a player sets the Auto Play for 100 spins then all spins have to be played at the same wager. This is a problem in online slots tournaments, because tournaments may require switching over from conservative wagering to aggressive wagering at any time depending on the player’s position on the leader board and the time left. Players can however use the Auto Play facility for short intervals during which they may not need to change the wagered amount. This is more likely to happen when they just start the online slots tournament. However the Auto Play facility needs to be used carefully. The online gaming software provider Vegas Technology has one of the best Auto Play facilities and therefore this facility is being used as an example. The Vegas Technology Auto Play facility entails players select from the given options rather than enter desired values. Though there is a vast range to choose from as far as the number of spins goes, for online slots tournaments players the choice must be restricted to the first three options of 5, 10 and 25. If the tournament allows players to wager for an hour or more players can begin with 25 auto spins. On the other hand if the tournament allows wagering for only 10 minutes then 5 auto spins would be an appropriate choice. In this Auto Play facility players can set the number of seconds between spins. The lowest option is 0.25 seconds and players have to go for this option. Ultimately the players may not use their complete allotted time, but it makes sense to go as fast as possible so that in the worst case they are not strapped for time. In the next part of the Auto Play set up players have to select one of the four given options that will stop the auto spins. These are wait till all spins, wait till a jackpot is hit, stop on any win and stop if a win exceeds a specified amount. Players must choose the last option. The specified amount varies from 50 credits to 250 credits in intervals of 50 credits. The choice of the specified amount would depend on the parameters of the online slots tournament and the position of the player at that time. The player may be targeting to increase his balance by 250 credits. It may not matter to the player whether this happens in a single spin or in a number of spins. To provide for this there are two conditions available both of which must be checked. The first condition says to stop the auto spins when the amount of credits increases by a specified amount. The second condition says to stop the auto spins when the amount of credits decreases by a specified amount. The specified amounts are the same as earlier. When this happens the players may require reassessing the wagered amounts and making necessary changes. Players must remember that the Auto Play can be stopped manually anytime by clicking the stop button. Therefore if they feel that they want to change the wagered amount they need not wait for the auto spins to be completed. Article Tools Email Print Digg Del.icio.us StumbleUpon CommentsAdd Comment

It's true actually and makes sense what's being said. Just like when you're trying to preserve your bankroll so you can stretch things out so that you can play longer when you start lowering your wagers in general!
