Two new online slots have hit Microgaming online casinos late last week. Both have been developed by independent studios exclusively attached to Microgaming. Astro Legends has been developed by Foxium, a new addition to the Microgaming studios. Crystal Rift is from Rabcat Gaming, the first of the Microgaming independent studios. Astro Legends has a unique structure. It is composed of a gem-shaped reel with 22 crystal cells. Payouts are awarded for clusters of five or more like symbols and not the usual paylines. They are brought to life with high-fidelity 3D models and extensive animations. But they conduct the proceedings from outside the reels. Crystal Rift has the 5x3 structure with 25 fixed paylines. The symbols are crystals of different shapes and colours. The white crystal is the wild symbol. The Bonus Falls is the dominant feature. After a spin’s wins are paid out, the symbols in winning combinations are replaced by new ones. If winning combinations are formed again then the process repeats. The Bonus Falls continue in the same spin till there are no new wins. At the start of a fall a randomly chosen Wild Grid pattern is displayed on the reels.
