An Upgrade And New Games From Wizard GamingBy: Fabian Rictor, Monday August 31st 20096 Comments Email Print Wizard Gaming, registered in the Isle of Man, is the latest online casino software. It was launched less than a year ago. It lost its first online casino, Gold Rock, almost immediately. Recently All Star Slots, the second and only remaining Wizard Gaming online casino, also announced its decision to switch. Gold Rock has gone to Rival gaming whereas All Star Slots will change to Real Time Gaming. This left Wizard Gaming with excellent software but no operators. Such a situation would have dealt a mortal blow to most companies, but not to Wizard Gaming. Wizard Gaming has hit back not only with a software upgrade but with four new online casino games. The latest version of the Wizard Gaming software is v. 5.0. It replaces v. 4.0, which was released in March 2009. This latest version has some amazing functional features that are not offered even by industry pioneers like Microgaming. Auto Play will resume after the bonus game on the second screen or the free spins feature has completed. Normally in the case of all software providers the Auto Play stops if any bonus feature is triggered and completed. Sometimes the bonus features are hit in the first few spins and the players want the Auto Plat to continue. Players have to reactivate the auto play by going through the process again. This feature will be a great help to players. Other new features in the upgraded Wizard Gaming software include a Cash and Bonus popup when the player hovers over the payout area on the bottom left of the screen. This feature will currently be available only on the two new slots being added, but soon will be incorporated in the other slot games as well. The Cashier will prompt players to accept or decline bonus offers. Improvements have been made to the Cashier, Registration, Game History and Blackjack animations. The Blackjack keyboard shortcuts have been updated for greater usability and quicker play. Two new online slot games have been introduced. Groove City is a 20 payline video slot with a fixed jackpot of 15,000 coins. It has an expanding wild symbol with a 2x multiplier. There are three Bonus Games and a Free Spins round with up to 22 free spins and up to a 7x multiplier. Rocket Girl is a 25 payline video slot with a fixed jackpot of 50,000 coins. It has an expanding wild symbol. There is a three stage Bonus Game and a Free Spins round with up to 30 free spins and up to a 6x multiplier. Rocket Girl Video Slot Preview: Groove City Video Slot Preview: The upgraded Wizard Gaming software will have two new table games. This was desperately needed because as of now Wizard Gaming offers a single table game, Classic Blackjack. The new variant of blackjack added is Bahamas Blackjack, which is played according to European Rules. It will have a "relaxing ocean-side mood". A single hand Jacks or Better video poker has been added, which has the usual features. Bahamas Blackjack Preview: Jacks or Better Video Poker Preview: A Wizard Gaming spokesman said, "Discussions are well underway with new operators and we hope to make announcements soon as brands go live in the coming weeks." Awesome new games I've been playing at slotscountry.co.uk myself as well and am really looking forward to being able to start playing at a casino that uses their software for real money.

These new games are off the hook... Since All Star Slots is no longer is operating on their software everyone who wants to continue playing at Wizard Gaming casinos can do so by visiting either the Wizard Gaming website or directly visiting slotscountry.co.uk which offers free play Wizard Gaming powered online casino games.

Hi Raymond... They do look like some great games. Currently I don't think that there's anywhere that you can play the games as of yet as I beleive that All Star Slots just left Wizard Gaming for RTG's platform as of yesterday. I stopped by and checked out their website which doesn't appear to have been migrated over as of yet. Soon from what I hear and read there will be another Wizard Gaming casino launching. I'm sure an announcement will be made shortly.

Wizard Gaming was lacking on some of the other game types although that didn't really bother me all that much as I do really enjoy and love playing slots more then anything else. I really love the looks of this new Rocket Girl game. This will definitely be a game that I start playing when they get some new clients up and running. They offer some of the best games out there that's for sure! The fact that they now have a 2nd blackjack and their first video poker game is a good sign that they're expanding their operations and growing as a company.
