In a private e-mail to all its members addressed by the Casino Manager, All Star Slots online casino has informed them that it will be changing its software provider in the coming weeks. The relevant text of the message read, "After careful consideration, the management of All Star Slots has decided to move its software platform to RTG (Realtime Gaming) which with it brings a host of new features to further improve your All Star gaming experience." No date has been set for the change. Members have been told to do nothing for now and that they will be informed of the steps they need to take in good time.

At present All Star Slots online casino is being powered by Wizard Gaming. Wizard Gaming is a new online gaming software provider that entered the industry last year with the launch of Gold Rock Casino. It launched All Star Slots in November 2008 with much fanfare. However soon after that Gold Rock Casino shifted to Rival Gaming and All Star Slots was left as the sole licensee of Wizard Gaming. Despite that Wizard Gaming had updated its software and introduced new games regularly, including progressive jackpots and table games.

The e-mail to the members has cited several reasons for making the switch to RTG. Players will have access to "more games including over 80 slots machines, and a solid range of table, card and dice games." The other advantages cited are dynamic and exciting bonuses, more electronic payment options, improved credit and debit card functionality, loyalty points and a VIP club, online slots tournaments, 24/7 Live Person support and software that would be available in both download and no-download formats.

RTG has shown considerable growth in the past year but remains very cookie cutter in their games which certainly get's boring overtime. It is among the most active of the online gaming software providers that cater to the American market along with Vegas Technology who run top brands such as Golden Casino and Millionaire Casino.

So they've officially made the switch over to RTG software and you can now play on their casino. The bonus is much better now that they've switched as well which seems to be one of the things that they've modified. Additionally it seems as though they are offering blackjack tournaments like all other RTG casinos which is also neat.

Yeah should be good but at the same time there are so many RTG online casinos out there and there really isn't anything new and or exciting in RTG's software from one casino to the next. I'm sure that the improved number of games in the casino will be a big improvement from Wizard but the slots games in RTG's software for the most part are the same from one game to the next.

I left a comment earlier regarding All Star Slots stating that the migration over to RTG programming was taking a little longer than they originally stated, well I just today received an update from All Star slots that they will be launching on September 7th. Yipeee! I love their graphics. The migration to RTG should enhance the already fun site.

No no idea but there must have been a good reason for it...

Anyone know why these comments were deleted? Anyways I played All Star Slots casino for fun and really enjoyed it. I've also read that Wizard Gaming will be left without a client now... I suppose this creates a great opportunity for someone else who wants to run an online casino to come in and run off of this platform. I guess part of the problem is that with new software providers just like in any other business there are going to be some issues here and there... I'm interested in seeing if they get someone else operating on their software platform soon.
